The very heart's place: the house of Madonna di Trapani
The Sanctuary of Annunziata includes, besides the church also a conventual building both are really fascinating. The first chapel was built in the XIII c. and later enlarged. The front is gothic and is the original one, while inside it was restored in the style of XVIIc. Even the bell Tower is Baroque. There is a single huge aisle which at both its sides has sever chapels rich with ornaments.

The building really evocative has a squared plan and a raised dome with pointed arches, is the perfect representative of the Arabic-Sicilian architecture in XV c. with its signs of the Norman and Gothic eras.
Built in 1688, it preserves the famous statue groups on wooden bases called Mysteries.
The church was a project by the architect Pietro Castro and it has been built in 1688. Giovanni Biagio Amico modified the front in 1712 who asked on it the 12 plastered-stone statues representing the Apostles by Alberto Orlando.
