Vita is a very small town which lives mainly on agricolture, they produce wines and olive oil. The village was founded by the nobleman Vito Sicomo in XVIII c. The area is particularly green thanks to the cultivated lands and to a wood on the top of Monte Baronia.

The area is particularly green thanks to the cultivated lands and to a wood on the top of Monte Baronia. The perfect place to have some healthy trekking overlooking the wonderful natural landscape. Every year Vita celebrates San Giuseppe with the traditional votive breads and Our Lady Tagliavia, when there is a popular fest with parade carts moving along the streets and followed by the whole town.
