Built in XVIc. by Ciambras, whose coat of arms appears upon the main door top, its architecture testify a proved link between the town and the Iberian peninsula. The diamond like ashlars on the tower's walls and peculiar decorations on the windows and on the door, testify, in fact, the plateresco style which flourished in Spain between the XV and XVI cs. This style is adorned more than usual and it tries too reproduce the effect on a silver plate work of art. The name of the palace follows its building where had once been the Jewish ghetto after the Jews were deported by will of Ferdinando the Catholic in 1492. Today the building is not in fine conditions. In 1901 it was bought by the town hall, but at the end of the world war the town hall itself had to give it up in order to pay its debt.
