After several years the town was built again in a nearby area and many an artist dedicated their work to this unfortunate place. Nowadays the whole landscapes is riddled with modern artworks and bold buildings you can appreciate walking along the large streets.

A theater, poetry and visual arts festival takes place Avery summer in Gibellina with the "Orestiadi" which carries on the cultural forefront there started after the great disaster.
