Porta Botteghelle is one of the doors that opened on the town walls reinforced by Giacomo d'Aragona, on the north seaside of Trapani -Tramontana walls-. This door opens directly opposed the Serisso door, and was enlarged in XIV c. Exactly out of this door there was a Jew cemetery. Nowadays it leads to a solitary shore stretching along the Tramontana Walls.
