The olive groove valley has the Makari bay's coast as a natural border. It shows a wild nature rich in macchia mediterranea lapped by really clear waters here of emerald green, there of light blue and then of the deepest blue. The long coast line, wields rocky areas, where the rocks build little pebbled inlets and long stretches of a calcareous sand. The bay is bordered by the cliffs of Cofano Mountain and Monaco Mountain with their two guard towers.
