This palace was the jury house and was built where had already been the Loggia of Pisa merchants. The area all around it is still commonly called Loggia. The building was completed only in XVII c. by the architect Giuseppe Moccia who projected its front.

The building was completed only in XVII c. by the architect Giuseppe Moccia who projected its front. Two porched levels show evident marks of the Palladio style thanks to their three-mullioned windows with an arched centre - serliana-. The middle part of the front grows as a tower with a clock on its top and a squared room open with four arches. The building took its present name after 1860 on memory of a popular revolt against Bourbons few days before Garibaldi and his thousand followers landed in town. Nowadays the palace guests the town-hall meetings.
