Minnola Bay, lays on the north-eastern coast of Levanzo, and is the place where nature met the Mediterranean Sea History in its hardest times: the Punic wars era. Helped by a scuba diver guide, you can even admire an underwater museum where are the remains of a Roman ship. The rocky coast and the crystal sea are surrounded by a pleasant little wood. The bay preserves also an ancient slide used for the launch of the ship. There nearby, there are also the remains of an ancient factory: the pools where had been prepared the Garum.
