The church had been founded in 1552 but in XVC. it was completely built again.
Founded in 1552, it housed the SS.Trinità confraternity and as it gained the title of parish church in 1615, it was given some benefices in order to be self-providing.

In 1639 it lost the title of parish church since the little centre was expanding around the are of another church (San Paolo). Become ever less patronized, the church was quitted. A second church of the SS.Trinità was built between 1746 and 1757 opposite to the former. Worth to be appreciated is the simple and fine front door. The Church guests some work of art like a painting of SS. Trinità from XV c. and two other pictures from the early 1900 representing Maria SS.Ausiliatrice and San Giovanni Bosco, they were painted by the Franciscan nuns of Mary in Rome.
