Our Lady of the Rosary

Better known as Madonna di l'Agnune, it was built around 1423

It is supposed it had a Norman origin and that it had been built around 1423. The works which ornate it, in fact, seam to come from the followers of Gagini like the cinquecento marble bas-relief representing our Lady with The Child and San Nicolò and the hermit looking the Crucifix which are over the main door.

Inside, a simple single aisle was conceived to be of no interest for the pirates. Common people remember it as the church of Madonna di l'Agnune. "Agnune" is the dialect word for corner and  this  clears the plain purpose to keep it hidden.
